IM SO EXCITED

I sincerely can’t remember the last time I was this excited.

My old roommate from study abroad is visiting our grand city today for work and is leaving tomorrow which means one thing: he gets to hang out with me.

Most of our time together was centered around the idea of food: Getting it. Eating it. Procrastinating through the use of attaining it.

Immaculate wit, excellent comedic timing, an arsenal of knowledge, the curiosity and learning ability of, well, a baby. This sounds like its not that great of a comparison but, truly, babies learn stuff fast. I only wish I could absorb information at the rate a baby could. And William could! He was conversational in Greek by the time we were done with study abroad!

There’s always that nostalgia that you have for people that belong to your past the way study-abroad people do. You know, fundamentally, that it’s rare that you’ll ever experience them the same way again. Like a relic that I thought would be lost forever, I get to experience the glory that is William.

What can I say, William everybody! (Until he sees these and probably asks me to take them down):
