I got this brand new iPad app called “Blogsey”. I’m not entirely sure how it works and there are way too many videos to watch. Which is fine, it just means getting familiar with it the right way is going to mean spending quite a bit of time. Which is prompting me to create a…

I don’t think chicken salad is very big in Haiti
I’ve found the lunchtime equivalent to making soup. Because making soup takes forever. Chicken Salad sandwiches. I made a deliciously complicated chicken salad last night and I was going to make a sandwich for work and forgot to this morning. You can put everything, anything in them. Raisins. Red onion. Celery. Sunflower seeds with or…
Love is in the air…
I was driving through Watertown yesterday on my way to enjoy a really nice, sunny warm Sunday afternoon and came across the cutest thing in the WORLD. The world. A man in his 50s has reached local celebrity status through his zeal for finding a companion. A dreamer. An opportunity seeking spirited pioneer of love!…
Dolce. Dolce. Dolce.
I’m really liking this whole Italian family style ad campaign. Obviously, it’s hyperbolic, but it rings more true than not, so I venture to call this a success. If it were real life, most of these people wouldn’t be as attractive. I like that Dolce and Gabbana are bringing it back. Getting real with their…
I am so sad…
I love Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Obviously. It’s a lot of life lessons in one movie. It’s probably earlier than my generation. By a couple of years, I guess. But that’s what’s nice is that we knew it was good so we watched it. Plus then you get into the Smiths and then it becomes…
A whole month…
It’s been a while. I am having a hard time keeping my soul’s desires satiated while holding down a job. Battle axe that I am. I guess I’ll go into that a little bit. It’s consisted of much travel, but that part’s over now. For which I’m kind of relieved… And this idea that I…
2011 SEE YA

Weird. The year’s almost over and everything’s different!
I think I’ve had the kind of year everyone tries to have every January… picked up some new hobbies, kept this blog up!, I bought a car yesterday–which is exciting–switched jobs, frolicked in rolling hills and felt the dew of summer! Metaphysically speaking. I also travelled quite a bit, which felt good.
Plus it’s nice having somewhere to go every so often. It gives you stuff to talk about with your peers. There’s the hype of GOING. Then your loved ones treat you even a little bit special just because, you know, there’s always the risk that you’ll die somehow. True.
So, its nice. Plus, last time, when I was in Zurich for a (god forsaken 11 hour layover those sadists) layover, I was only steps away from a crazy man shooting pigeons. He could have shot me.
The risk of dying when you’re at a destination that requires air travel is high. I survived the year! Or that you’ll love the place you’re going to so much that you’ll never come back. This one is more likely.
Also I did a lot of crafts, which is just nice. Cooked more–definately a good skill to invest in. I have emerged more well rounded than I began.
I suppose were doing quite well if we can do at least one good, decent, difficult-to-do thing every year. Otherwise we face only the wrath of stagnation!

The year is almost over and I still haven’t done half the things I wanted to do: Not that I can do them now! 1. Make Christmas feast. 2. Make Christmas wreaths out of seemingly unrelated materials 3. Make Christmas homemade wrapping paper 4. Make Christmas Eggnog I did make cookies though. Since I’m so…
