Day off #2. I skipped a day here. Oh well…There’s something really sweet about Waltham. Its quaint. Its eclectic. There are neat little stores everywhere, most of them are owned by moms and pops.
We have the Charles River, which is actually very beautiful. A lot of people know one another, there is a sense of community.
The thing I like most is that it isn’t as annoying as just about every other town it borders. The people aren’t self entitled jerks. There are some crazies, junkies and vagabonds, but that just adds to the charm.
It’s a fine place to raise children, I realized. I mean, I turned out great. And I don’t have any children of my own so its strange that I should even be saying this. I think, mostly, I was just taken aback as to how true that statement really was…Anyway I took some pictures of its loveliness.

Along the tracks of the commuter rail is a large brick building which houses artist’s studios, which is really nice. Once a year they all open their studios to the public and you can go, eat their crackers, drink their wine and embrace the Art. Or buy it. My friend Al is also showing his pictures, so you know, I’m supportive. Their website is: wmaastudios.org

I loooove these pics. It makes me miss Waltham something suuuuuurious.
Will I be seeing you on Sat? I will be hitting that artsy scene on that day, and want to relive my barista days with you beautiful people!
I will be there on Sunday unfortunately!!! 😦
